The leap day as a trick against astronomical chaos: we are planning an exhibition for 28+29/02/24 that lasts 24 hours and is based on the “Nachtcafé” as a kind of nocturnal island of peace. A satellite in the middle of the neon hustle and bustle of Eisenbahnstraße. Timeless, over-nighted, wicked. We come together on a blue carpet for performances, sound pieces and readings. Up in the corner hangs a screen showing video works and TV. We watch and hang out. We get ourselves an absinthe. A concert is about to be played to put us to sleep. We remember the hotel bar in Lost in Translation and the eternal rain in Bladerunner. Of the morning that never was. We think of leap day as a non-day. We get the blue from the sky. We drift off.

We warmly invite you to 24h Bistro filled with great artworks, performances, music and readings. Get ready, we are waiting for you!

In collaboration with dearest Edit – Literaturzeitschrift!
